I LOVE books and thankfully, I have three kids who love books as well. Through the years I have tried to prepare them for our travels by reading to them and sharing with them books about places we plan to visit. This gets them excited about our upcoming adventures and gives them some background knowledge (I try to keep a healthy mix of fiction and non-fiction) for them to use when we arrive at our destination.
