4. Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix

6. Stratosphere Adventures

Of course, the teenagers will want to go on all the rides in Vegas, so start with a visit to the SkyPod at the Strat Hotel. The 900-plus-foot skyscraper is open to the public with restaurants and an observation deck with 360-degree views of the Nevada horizon. But the most exciting part about SkyPod are the thrill rides that sit on top of it!

Did you know that you can ride a zipline along the streets of Sin City? SlotZilla is a slot machine-themed thrill ride that’s perfect for anyone looking for an adrenaline-pumping experience!

You can choose between the 77-foot-high Zip-Zilla or the 114-foot-high Super-Hero Zoom. In thirty seconds you will be flying at up to 35 miles per hour either 2 blocks over the entire Fremont Street Experience or 5 blocks under the Viva Vision canopy.

8. Ride the High Roller and Zipline on FlyLINQ

You’ll love the breathtaking views from the Fly LINQ zipline which is 12 stories high and carries you along at 35 miles per hour! Zip between the skyscrapers of Las Vegas toward the base of the massive High Roller Observation Wheel.

For a different view, ride the High Roller itself. It’s the largest observation wheel in North America at 550 feet tall. Open till midnight, the 30-minute ride will give you sparkling memories of the neon Strip set against the night’s desert sky.

17. Viva Vision Light Show

If you’re looking for free things to do in Vegas with teens, head to the bright lights of the Fremont Street Experience.

Across the five-block pedestrian mall, you’ll find overhead canopies displaying the Viva Vision Light Show, a free light show held every night between 6 PM and 2 AM. The high-tech screen of canopies features a lineup of music-based light shows with hit songs by the likes of Shakirah or the Killers. Walk among the high-resolution images while you shop or simply sit and watch the show!

18. Bellagio Fountains Nighttime Show

The Bellagio Fountains Nighttime Show is one of those iconic free things to do in Vegas that shouldn’t be missed! The fountains in front of the famous Bellagio Hotel are beautiful on their own, but the 15-minute show is moving as the fountains interact with music that plays in the background.

There are free shows every day from 3 PM to midnight, but I suggest aiming for one of the shows at happens right after sunset the ultimate experience!

19. See a Las Vegas Show

Seeing live performances should be at the top of your list of things to do in Las Vegas with teens. You can’t go wrong with a Cirque du Soleil show, and you can choose from 6 different shows at 6 different hotels!

See Blue Man Group at the Luxor Hotel, serving up music, artist performance, and tons of laughs. For an iconic Las Vegas experience, you can experience David Copperfield’s latest show at the Las Vegas Hotel. There’s also America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live at the Luxor with an exciting show and a line-up of the biggest acts from the TV series!

You can theoretically walk the length of the Strip through downtown Las Vegas but remember that you’re the desert and the sun is beating down! Bring lots of water, wear good shoes, and don’t push yourself if you’re not used to the weather.

Caesars Palace has the Forum Shops with all the exclusive brand names and high-end restaurants. For the ultimate luxury shopping at stores like Gucci, Fendi, and Chanel, go to the Via Bellagio Promenade.

24. Day trip to Hoover Dam

A short drive from Las Vegas (less than 45 minutes) to the Nevada/Arizona border is the Hoover Dam, one of the most impressive historical landmarks in the United States.

At the dam, there’s a parking lot near the visitor’s entrance. You can take a self-guided tour through the site, as well as historic exhibits. Then you’ll go out on the dam’s observation deck for unbelievable views of the Colorado River!

While you’re in Las Vegas, you could also take a day trip to the Grand Canyon. It also makes for a good stop on the way to or from the city. The Grand Canyon is another US landmark that has to be seen to understand why it’s so magnificent!

There are so many different ways to see this national park, but I recommend taking a helicopter tour, especially if you’re only spending a day here. You get a great perspective of the canyon that stretches all the way to the horizon and deep into the gorge down to the waters of the Colorado River at the bottom.
